Butch Dixon, owner and Vice President of Marksmen General Contractors, Inc., has worked in the banking industry for over 30 years. He began his career as a teller while attending Schreiner University. Upon graduation, he entered the officer training program at Chas. Schreiner Bank with a focus on loan operations. His career in banking has provided many challenges including the opening of a loan operations center for Norwest Bank in San Antonio and the subsequent consolidation of over 40 purchased banks.

He then served in several different capacities as his talents were needed in new or expanded areas. His greatest achievement was in his role in the opening of Bank of the hills, a de novo bank, which quickly became a premier community bank in Texas. As the head of Loan Operations and IT, he played an integral role in the equipping and opening of 4 new locations and several subsequent systems conversions upon acquisition by Sterling Bank and then Comerica Bank. Butch currently serves as the HR Coordinator for Arms of Hope and as an Elder at his church.
